The Challenge
One of our clients, the largest for-profit health system with over 40 hospitals across the US, was using multiple systems to manage thousands of work orders on a yearly basis. Hospital staff was challenged with prioritizing and categorizing the work for preventative, corrective, and regulatory compliance needs.
Along with this, the health system spent over 60 hours every month to manually compile data from various systems to generate reports that were reactive and outdated.
The Solution
iCREF built standardized workflows for the health system to categorize, prioritize and automate the generation and completion of work orders with digital documentation and audit logs, per regulatory standards, to enable a constant state of readiness. This was done by linking regulatory standards to work orders that help prepare and plan for successful Joint Commission, CMS and DNV audits, and other jurisdictional inspections
iCREF real-time reporting and analytics capabilities also reduced the manual effort to generate data and insights by 98%, resulting in annual internal savings of $301,000, which helped the hospital staff manage real estate assets and facilities more efficiently.
Our Value
Geospatially linked assets lead to more informed decisions.
The common link between all real estate & facilities services are the assets. We define assets as any real, fixed, or moveable property owned by the client. From an asset as large as a campus to a piece of telemetry equipment, the asset is the nucleus that carries the most important data to all service lines. Integrating asset data within the iCREF platform enables staff to work share knowledge and work smarter. When opening a new work order in iCREF, by linking an asset you see the full picture in its lifecycle - maintenance records, feasibility studies, projects, regulatory deficiencies, energy consumption, and lease information - and is automatically populated at your fingertips.
